Celebrate your little one's first birthday with a cake smash photoshoot! Brilliant fun, messy play and a fantastic way to commemorate your baby’s first year!
With a variety of backdrops and themes to choose from, all you need to do is bring the baby and come along and have fun.
Cake smash photoshoots include family photos first, a birthday portrait, then the cake smash and a splash in the bubble bath to finish.

Cake Smash photoshoot
A photoshoot to celebrate your baby’s first birthday - with cake, messy play and a splash in the bath with bubbles too.
You’re welcome to use one of our outfits, the cake and all decorations are provided and we have towels for afterwards - all you need to do is choose a backdrop or colour scheme.
Family, siblings and pets are very welcome for a family photo at the beginning and siblings can join in at the end of the smash and splash sections if they would like.

Up to 60 minutes of studio time including family photos, birthday portrait, cake smash and splash.
Cake and decorations are provided - please inform us of any allergies (or if you would prefer, I also offer fruit rather than cake)
Session & 10 Digital Images
£295
£95 deposit required (remaining balance due on or before the day)
Following your shoot, you can choose your favourite 10 images or add more to your collection for £25 each.
You also have the option to upgrade to your full digital gallery for £150.

FAQ’s
When is best to book?
I recommend booking a cake smash shoot for a couple of weeks before baby’s first birthday so you can enjoy sharing the photos on their special day. Get your date in the diary as soon as you can to ensure availability, the diary is open 12 months in advance.
How long will it take?
The full shoot will take around an hour, to include family photos first, a birthday portrait, the smash and splash in the bath.
What kind of cake is provided?
I provide an iced cake from the supermarket to go with our theme, usually a rainbow, naked or white chocolate style. If you would prefer to bring your own, please let me know on the booking form - I can recommend some local bakers who can cater for allergies and sugar free. Alternatively, a variety of fresh fruit is available - again please just let us know if you would prefer this option.
What do I wear?
For family photos plain colours tend to work well, I recommend picking a colour or material and running it through your family outfit choices so they all tie in together. For baby, you’re welcome to bring an outfit(s) however I do have a range of vests, braces, tutus and bow ties to choose from.
Can parents and children join in?
Yes! Parents and the baby’s siblings are very welcome to get a family photo first, the studio is also dog friendly if you would like to include your furry members of the family too. Siblings are welcome to join in at the end of the smash and splash sections.
What do I need to pay and when?
For the full photoshoot a £95 non refundable deposit is due when booking with the remaining balance due on or before the day. If you wish to purchase additional images, individual images are £25 each.
Payment can be made via cash, bacs, card or Klarna.
What happens next?
Following your shoot, we will book a viewing session, this can be back at the studio or arranged online over Zoom. You can enjoy a slideshow of your best photos, professionally edited and ready to download that same day.
Choose your digital images then add prints and framed artwork too. I can guide you through this and there is absolutely no hard sell.
Booking a future session.
I’d love to continue our photo journey and I highly recommend an outdoor session once your baby has started walking! There are discounts off family photoshoots to be taken within 12 months.
