With over 10 years specialising in baby photography, you can be reassured that you’re in safe hands. Each session is bespoke to you, if there are certain colours you would like to choose, sentimental teddies and blankets you would like to include, you’re part of the creative process as much or as little as you would like to be.
Newborn photos are best booked within those first few weeks when baby is naturally more sleepy, however babies can of course be photographed at any age and we can still achieve a gallery of beautiful photos. For babies older than 12 weeks, a family session would be better suited.
What’s included?
Newborn Baby photoshoot
A photoshoot focussed on your new baby with your choice in backdrop colours, various wraps and clothing to choose from and a range of posed and more natural photos.
We will go through a variety of setups and different props at the pace of your baby, always ensuring they come first and if we need to stop to feed or settle, this is all part of the session and very normal. Family, siblings and dogs are very welcome too and there are a variety of wooden toys and books for younger children to play with whilst they’re waiting for their turn.
Including sentimental items is a great way of personalising your photoshoot - teddies and blankets both look great and we can also include these in your future photoshoots.

Newborn Mini Session
A 45 minute studio mini session just for baby.
This is a mini session that captures a handful of beautiful photos of your baby, wrapped or in their own outfit, awake or asleep. Because the session is shorter than the full photoshoot, there is less variety of shots and does not include parent or family photos.
Session and 5 digital images £175
Booking deposit £75, remaining balance due on the day.
Newborn Baby Photoshoot
Up to 2 hours in the studio or at your home.
This photoshoot includes a variety of wraps, outfits and different setups for baby, time for feeding, settling and hopefully a mix of sleepy and awake shots. Family portraits and sibling shots are included and pets are very welcome too.

FAQ’s
When is best to book?
Any time from your 12 week scan, get your due date booked in and tick newborn photos off your to do list. If you have already given birth, midweek sessions are often available at short notice so please still check the diary and get in touch. Newborn photos are best booked in the first 2-3 weeks as baby is naturally more sleepy however I do take newborn bookings up to 12 weeks and beyond this, you’re very welcome to book a family session to capture your baby as they grow.
How long will it take?
The newborn mini session is up to 45 minutes in the studio and is just photos of baby.
A newborn shoot can take up to 2 hours to allow time for feeding, settling and not feel rushed at all. We will capture a variety of poses and you’re welcome to come to the studio or I can come to you at home.
What do I wear?
You will want to be comfortable so please dress accordingly. Plain colours tend to work well, I recommend picking a colour or material and running it through your family outfit choices so they all tie in together. For baby, you’re welcome to bring an outfit if you would like but I have neutral outfits you can use and a variety of coloured wraps for swaddled photos too so please don’t feel you need to bring too much.
Can parents and children join in?
Yes! Partners and the baby’s siblings are very welcome when booking the full newborn photoshoot, Grandparents and dogs are welcome too. The mini session is just for photos of baby.
Can we have the shoot at home?
Yes absolutely, I am more than happy to come to your home for full newborn and family photoshoots. These take on a more lifestyle feel rather than using studio lighting and backdrops, we will work with your space and it will feel more natural.
What do I need to pay and when?
There is a session fee due when booking.
For the newborn mini sessions; the remaining balance of £100 is due on the day to include 5 digital images or you can upgrade to your full digital collection for £200 to receive all of the best photos.
For the full newborn photoshoot nothing else is due till you’ve seen your photos.
Payment can be made via cash, bacs, card or Klarna.
What happens next?
Mini sessions; I will edit all the best/the best 5 photos from our session depending on your image choices and email a private gallery link so that you can download and share your images.
Full newborn photoshoot; Following your shoot, we will book a viewing session, this can be back at the studio or arranged online over Zoom. You can enjoy a slideshow of your best photos, professionally edited and ready to download that same day.
Choose your collection of digital images and prints. I can guide you through this and there is absolutely no hard sell.
Booking a future session.
I’d love to continue our photo journey and I highly recommend a 6 month milestone session, lots of smiles as we celebrate sitting up and tummy time!
