Outdoors
Family photos are such an important keepsakes to share with children, family and to treasure in the future. Outdoor photos are fantastic for pre-schoolers that love to be on the move, older children that enjoy exploring and camera shy teens that can be encouraged to join in with relaxed family photos outdoors rather than in the studio.
There are some fantastic locations in and around Ely and depending on the season some stunning flowers and beautiful scenery too. I’m happy to suggest a setting for photos but equally open to your ideas.
For locations further afield, please enquire before booking but most are possible including coastal locations.

£150 for a short and simple 20 minute photoshoot and 5 digital images, suitable for immediate family only and on selected dates and locations throughout the year. Please see the booking link for what’s next in the calendar.
Options include blossom, bluebells and summer florals to lavender, autumn leaves, apple picking and more.

faq’s
When is best to book?
I would recommend booking an outdoor shoot as early as you can as the mini sessions and weekend spaces are popular and can be sold out months in advance.
How long will it take?
The mini sessions are 20 minutes, perfect for some fun, relaxed photos outdoors - this timing works well for smaller family groups.
The full shoot is up to 60 minutes exploring our location, posed family photos and natural playful photos of playing hide and seek behind trees, piggy backs, swinging by the hand and enjoying the natural surroundings.
What do we wear?
I would recommend plain clothing, choosing a colour or material to run through each of your outfits. Depending on the season I can recommend coordinating colours and accessories.
What if it rains?
We live in the UK so weather does like to be unpredictable! If the shoot day is a washout - you will always get the opportunity to either reschedule or switch to a studio shoot instead.
This will be communicated on the day and will be at my discretion.
What do I need to pay and when?
There is a non refundable session fee required when booking. You don’t pay anything else until you’ve seen the photos!
What happens next?
Following your shoot, we will book a viewing session, this can be back at the studio or arranged online over Zoom. You can enjoy a slideshow of your best photos, professionally edited and ready to download that same day.
Choose your digital images then add prints and framed artwork too. I can guide you through this and there is absolutely no hard sell. Additional digital images are priced at £25 each.
Payment is due at your viewing session and can be made via cash, bacs, card or Klarna.
