A year in the life as a photographer in Ely, Cambridgeshire...
In 2014, I was very grateful to complete a business enterprise course with the Princes Trust, to turn my education, a hobby and passion into a career and to become a professional photographer (something I have always dreamed of)! A year ago this week, I received my funding from the Princes Trust and launched my business officially - Photographvie, family photography in Ely!
So Happy Birthday to me!!!! I have completed my first year and have made it to my first milestone .. and this is how I got there... !

It continues to fill me with pride that I can enjoy and create memories for your family, for photos to cherish for years to come, to gift to family and friends and look back on in the future. This year I put together a calendar for my family of photos of Poppy and the difference in her over just a year was so surprising! I couldn't be happier that I have lovely photos to enjoy, to jog my memory and to display proudly round the house for friends, family and most importantly for her to see.
I really have loved every part of meeting you lovely lot and having laughs with your children and sharing in your special moments.
I'm not going to say it has been easy, juggling being self employed with being a full time mummy, housewife and friend... But I wouldn't change it for the world!!
I am so excited to see what 2017 has to offer, as the business grows I'm sure I will be adding new areas of photography, improving technically and learning from this first year's experience and I just hope you can come on the journey with me!!
